    Dagang Net logo

Dagang Net, Malaysia’s leading e-commerce service provider, has pioneered and spearheaded initiatives aimed at creating paperless, electronic Customs-related services to ease the facilitation and streamlining of international trading processes for the import / export and trade & logistics industries.

Set up in 1989, Dagang Net today facilitates electronic Customs duty payments and electronic document transfer between members of its trading community made up of manufacturers, forwarders, shipping agents, terminal & port operators, banks, port authorities and Customs houses.

In 1997, Dagang Net scored a global first when it introduced the first commercially successful Customs duty electronic funds transfer service in the world.

In 2002, Dagang Net reached a major milestone by offering its electronic customs declaration service through the Web, known as “eDeclare”. Since then, the company has rolled-out more web-based value-added products as well as other major services that complement existing ones, under the brand-name “MyPorts”. This portal puts together all these services that enhance the performance of trade facilitation electronically.

Dagang Net introduced its electronic import/export permit application/approval, ePermit in 2004, as part of its ongoing development to create Malaysia’s national “single window” for electronic trade facilitation.

Other web-based services offered by the company include DutyNet (24-hour Internet-based Customs duty payment service), eManifest (an electronic vessel arrival notifications and manifest), Order Fulfillment Exchange (online portal for Small Medium Enterprise (“SMEs”), to market their products and services to multinatinational corporations), and MyPorts Content (offers content-based services such as Customs exchange rates, Harmonised System tariff codes, ASEAN Harmonised Tariff Nomenclature tariff codes, ISO codes, Customs Station codes, Bank information, Shipping Schedule, Landbridge Schedule and Registered forwarding and shipping agents).

Dagang Net is a subsidiary of TIME Engineering Berhad, the Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) flagship outfit of the UEM Group and a Government-linked company
