Japan Association for Simplification of International Trade Procedures

Japan Association for Simplification of International Trade Procedures (JASTPRO) is a public interest corporation registered in Japan and was established in December 1974 under the auspices of 3 Ministries, such as Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism with support and cooperation by the relevant business and transport circles connected with international trade.

The mission of JASTPRO is to contribute to make trade related businesses in Japan most efficient by facilitating trade related procedures corresponding to international trade development. To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, JASTPRO has carried out following activities:

1. To do researches and studies on how to facilitate trade related procedures
2. To fix and disseminate the method to facilitate trade related procedures
3. To cooperate with the Japanese Government in planning and executing a policy to promote facilitation of trade related procedures
4. To internationally cooperate with foreign entities who dedicate to trade related procedures such as UN/CEFACT and AFACT, etc.
5. To do other businesses to achieve the mission
