NETRUST

Netrust was established in May 1997 as the first Certification Authority (CA) in Southeast Asia. A joint venture between Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation (Keppel T&T) and Network for Electronic Transfers (Singapore) Pte Ltd (NETS), Netrust provides individuals, businesses and government organisations with a complete online identification and security infrastructure to enable secure electronic transactions via the Internet and other wireless media.

In its capacity as a Certification Authority (CA), Netrust acts as a trusted third party (TTP) that issues and manages digital certificates. Netrust maintains a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certification service and in its CA role creates and signs X.509 digital certificates which bind individuals, organisations and application servers with the particular public key of each subscriber.

Netrust's PKI provides a secure environment where faceless electronic transactions can take place with trust on the Internet, Intranet and on wireless networks. It issues to participants of this environment, digital certificates - which are equivalent to electronic IDs - that give online identities to individuals, organisations and application servers. Netrust's digital certificates can be issued globally and provide complete online identification and security for secure electronic transactions. It supports the core security requirements of Authentication, Authorization, Confidentiality, Data Integrity and Non-Repudiation

TAIWAN-CA.COM Inc. (TWCA)

To facilitate certificate authentication for e-services in the securities, finance, insurance and commerce industries, TAIWAN-CA.COM Inc. (TWCA), under the agreement of the Ministry of Finance, was organized and established on Dec. 17, 1999. TWCA, with 103,500 thousands in capital, is mainly composed of five main shareholders, TSEC (Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation), FISC (Financial Information Service Corporation), TISC (Trade-van Information Services Corporation), TSCD (Taiwan Securities Depository) and Hitrust Inc. Not only in capital pooling, TWCA also integrates main shareholders long-term technology, practice and experience in the industries of banking, securities and insurance, providing the most consolidate on-line financial security certificate service and embarking on the installation and promotion of sound financial security environment, to ensure the security of on-line finance and electronic commercial trade.

Ministry of Economic Affairs Certification Authority (MOEACA)

MOEACA is a “Certificates Authority”, named by Electronic Signature Act, issues certificates to business entities (including companies, franchises and proprietors) in Taiwan. As a foundation to the eGov plan, Certification Authority (CA) is formed by Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), ROC.

MOEACA is the level 1 subordinate CA in Government Public Key Infrastructure (GPKI).Issuing certificate for domestic business group adhere to GPKI Certificate Policy (CP)—Level 3 subordinate CA.

MOEACA has been appraised by ISO 27001:2005 in October 26th, 2006. Since August 7th, 2003, MOEACA has responsible for issuing certificate as an identification for online services for domestics business groups. The IC Card has been issued 57,823 in February 15th, 2008.

Objectives of MOEACA

• Issue certificates as a reliable identity for electronic transactions.
• Promote eGov related applications to control costs associated with authentication between government agencies and business entities.

Digi-Sign Certification Services Limited

Digi-Sign Certification Services Limited has taken over from Tradelink Electronic Commerce Limited the function as a Certification Authority to provide services relating to the issuance of digital certificates in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Digi-Sign establishes its service framework consistent with the provisions of the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553) applicable to a recognized certification authority. The standard of practices adopted by Digi-Sign is in compliance with the Code of Practices for Recognized Certification Authority issued by Director of Information Technology Services of the Government of the HKSAR. The company was incorporated in the Hong Kong SAR in October 2000, and it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tradelink Electronic Commerce Limited. Digi-Sign's mission is to service its customers, business partners, the Government of the HKSAR and the business community, contributing to their endeavours and success through proactive participation in secure electronic commerce.

As a Recognized Certification Authority undertaking a "trusted role", Digi-Sign aims to carry out its certification services operation with efficiency, impartiality and integrity. We are committed to observing the established standard of behaviour governed by a Code of Ethics and Conduct. Digi-Sign publishes a Certification Practice Statement , setting out the practices to register subscribers, verify the subscriber applications, manage and control the processing of digital certificate issuance, acceptance of the certificates by the subscribers, suspension and revocation of the certificates.

TradeSign

TradeSign is a Certification Authority which carrying out by KTNET(Korea Trade Network). KTNET specializes in e-TRADE services through the internet and provide various trade-related services including finding client, customs clearance, logistics and settlement. Since the commencement of operation of this company by KTNET in 1991, the cost of both time and expenses necessary for trade procedures has remarkably reduced. KTNET provides international trade automation services using the EDI system.

TradeSign is the Certification Authority Center which was established according to KTNET's experience for e-TRADE and technical know-how. TradeSign is specialized in e-TRADE business related to Digital Signature Act and Electronic Transaction Act. Therefore, TradeSign bring trust to e-TRADE service by issuing the Digital Certificate which authenticate identification of user, assure the integrity of messages.

• eXedi (XML/EDI)

  The eXedi is a trade automation service that realizes B2B of XML/EDI on the web firstly in Korea. Companies in any place can access to eXedi using the existing Internet Connection. Only web browser be required to use this service, This service is accessible to anyone with an ID which is given on membership subscription.

• CTB (Cyber Trade Bank)

  CTB is a internet service of CTW(Cyber Trade World) which is a portal service for e-TRADE. CTB provide electronic payment solution for trade community at the trade procedure. CTB is implemented with double encryption and certificate roaming. CTB service connected to KEB(Korea Exchange Bank) which is responsible for payment cleaing.

• BaroEFT

  BaroEFT is an electronic settlement service that Intellectual Property agencies pay the handling charge to KIPO(Korean Intellectual Property Office). Digital Certificate identifies users, and the payment messages are secured.

Beijing Guo Fu An Security Electronic Commerce CA Co., Ltd.

Beijing Guo Fu An Security Electronic Commerce CA Co., Ltd., the "Certification Authority" of China International Electronic Commerce Center (CIECC) was launched in 1998. It operates and maintains the "Certification Authority System", based on the CIECC's "Electronic Commerce Information Authentication System", one of the National Key Projects of Science and Technology.

Technically authenticated by both the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Cryptogram Administrative Committee, the "Electronic Commerce Information Authentication System" is the first self-developed certification system authenticated and copyrighted in Mainland China.

The "Certification Authority System" performs a full range of functions for certificate application, approval, issuance, management, revocation, and renewal, as well as audit. Subscribers may use the certificates issued by the system for digital signature and encryption to guarantee the authenticity, integrity, confidentiality and non-repudiation of the transmitted information. Specifically, the CA provides S/MIME, SSL, CODE SIGN and other customized certificates in accordance with the X.509 standards. The ability to access all the features through a friendly interface, coupled with high transaction speed of certificate processing, allows the system to ensure the highest level of security, reliability and expansibility.

As a complete provider of e-commerce certification services, we implement and manage our certification authority system with a full set of rules to serve a complete range of digital certificates to government institutions, enterprises and individuals.

Moreover, the CA provides the government the services of securely transmitting the electronic documents for the electronic transactions, such as the networking of the Economic and Commercial Counselor's Offices of P.R.C, electronic bidding, online requesting and acceptance of the licenses of textiles quota, online approval and administration of the processing trade. To accommodate various industries and fields with diverse needs for communications and information security, it has begun to offer its services to the public.
