Yi-Lan, 24 April 2009: PAA MAKES ITS MARK AMONGST REGIONAL GOVERNMENT GROUPINGS

The Pan Asian e-Commerce Alliance (PAA) held its 31st Steering Committee meeting in Yi-Lan, Chinese Taipei from 21-24 April 2009.

The Steering Committee welcomed the efforts of the members in recruiting new customers into the usage of PAA Services. The Work Group has reported a 40% growth of the transaction volume of the PAA secure cross border services in the last three months. These new customers come from Korea Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia and Philippines.

Hong Kong, 5 December 2008: PAA WELCOMES AFRICAN ALLIANCE AND ELECTS A NEW CHAIRMAN FOR THE PERIOD 2009/2010

The Pan Asian e-Commerce Alliance (PAA) held its 30th Steering Committee meeting in Hong Kong SAR from 4-5 December 2008.

The Steering Committee welcomed the continued growth in PAA transaction services over the past 12 months. Moreover under its well established framework, PAA has continued to make progress in the development of its cross border electronic Certificate of Origin service. A pilot has commenced between Korea and Chinese Taipei, to be followed by other PAA members.
